Hi, my name is Charlee. I’m 11 years old and from a small town in New Brunswick, Canada. I started singing before I could even really talk, and four years ago my mom enrolled me in singing lessons with Alison Dawn Voice & Music. Ever since then, music has truly become my passion.
In the fall of 2023, during a performance, I got really nervous and forgot my lyrics. To help me work through my stage fright, my mom started reaching out to senior care and special care homes to see if they would enjoy having me perform. I’ve been singing for residents ever since, and those experiences have helped me grow so much as both a performer and a person.
I recently started theatre through ADVM and am excited to be playing Ursula in The Little Mermaid. I also just returned from the Canadian Model and Talent Convention in Toronto, where I had the opportunity to meet so many amazing people in the industry and received valuable feedback on how to continue improving my skills.
I’m excited to put everything I’ve learned into action and look forward to seeing what the future holds.
